pretty surprising results -

Several of the classic "hobby favorites" didn't fair so well; e.g., 1953 Bowman, 1957 Topps, etc.

I think bracketing by years really hurt this one. Seeding 1952 Topps, 1933 Goudey, and T206 in the same regional was a mistake. There should have been a ranking system used first...

Decided to put the sets together in eras. A couple match ups would have been nice later in the tourney, but overall it has been pretty exciting.

Next year, there will be conference/decade tournaments so sets can compete to get into the main tournament. This way we can do some sort of real seeding.

89 Upper Deck is down and 56 Topps jumped out to an early lead on 52 Topps.
