Default Oddity

Irv-- I think what Pete has and is asking about are 1973 Topps baseball cards with wrong, ie wacky package, backs. I could be, and often am, wrong

Some of 1973 Topps baseball series 2 were inadvertently printed with 1973 Wacky Packages Series 1 backs. I used to collect very early Wacky Packages cards. The cards you are seeking exists . I haven't seen one in a very long time. Certainly scarce. I have no idea of value. Maybe check with a registry Master set collector who could help you.

It was around $100 if I remember correctly, it may have been ten years ago.

I used to have a whole bunch of the stickers on the back of my bedroom door when I was 6-7 years old. My aunties used to give them to me when we would visit. Some of them really bring back memories. The gateway to baseball and football cards!

Heard of them, never saw one in person.

Here's one that sold in June -

Maybe someone can look up the final sale price?

Looking at that sellers feedback he had at least two he sold in June.

They were listed at 172.79 and he took best offer on them.

Might be worth reaching out as he seems like a wacky packages specialist and giving him contact info if he has more consigned.

eBay ID - Tedjeffrey

Yes that both sides are centered. A lot of wrong backs don't line up because the sheets got fed in backwards to make the wrong backs.
