Default Vintage Baseball Photos

Is there a good source for public baseball photos from the 50's on the internet?

Henry Yee's auctions on ebay are the best source for original photos. I think he has one coming up in september.

Thanks, though I'm not talking for purchase. Something similar to http://www.shorpy.com

Similar to this but with more baseball related photos.

Are you talking about for purchasing original photos, or purchasing modern reprints, or just grabbing images?

Polite corrections for unidentified and misidentified photos appreciated. Rude corrections also appreciated, but less so.

The Library of Congress has a lot of high quality early baseball photos for free use online, but I don't know what they have from later.

One thing is the copyright issues. Early photos say 1910 usually have no copyright restrictions, while a lot of 1950s might.

As the LOC is a government entity, most of its stuff offered is free of use. That's why NASA photos are free-- we citizens pay for NASA so their photos are public domain.

But I'd see what the Library of Congress has.

I thought Life magazine put a ton of their photos online too. I don't know if it's free or what are the restrictions, but they'd have 1950s baseball photos.
