Mine would be the T205 Moran stray-line.

What is yours?

One of these two, depending on if you count the cabinet as a card.

ETA: Nice idea for a thread by the way, Turner. It will be interesting to see the responses since it is about cards that are owned, not just known about.

It's not prewar - I don't think any of my prewar cards could be declared "rare" - It's a 1956 Dick Stuart minor league card. I have two and I only know of 2 others and one of those came from Dick Stuart's estate.

Uncatalogued proof of Chance New York Yankees. (And no this isn't from the notebook cover E95s and E96s. The team designation rules this out). Same paper composition as the E97 black and white proofs, at least to this amateur.

I don't really have any cards that would be considered "rare"

I guess my e98 Mathewson and Young would be the "rarest" I own. I've already posted pics of the Mathewson so many times, so i'll show the Young.

t206museum didn't have a t206 polar bear back with parts of 4 backs.. so maybe, just maybe its rare

probably one of the nicer PSA 1 Youngs. Just has a light wrinkle and a spec of paperloss, but I think it still looks nice

Warren Studios Johnny Ryan (Boston) CDV. I've seen one other of this particular CDV. Not sure how many exist, can't be too many.

Joseph Hall single player cabinet of Elmer Foster. This one is unique and the original piece used for his N338-2 card.

Ted,

That Buffalo Baseball Team item is spectacular!

My rarest is an item from 1903. I have posted it too many times already

One cool thing is... if you go to the SGC Pop Reports and
put in 1903 Baseball -

you get two possibilities.... either the e107s... or my card.

other than that card though... my orange border cards have to be my rarest:

Since Dan opened the door by posting a non-prewar card (thanks, by the way), I don't feel too bad adding this Bob Kennedy from the 1952 Num Num set. I've always thought this is one of the more underappreciated cards in terms of rarity, and in nearly 30 years of collecting, I've yet to see one with its tab.

GREAT THREAD, Turner!

I couldn't decide between these two:

The PM1 Baker is only cataloged because I told Bob Lemke about this one...

The M101-5 Becker is virtually impossible to find...

IF ... this is the real thing. Embedded in an antique-looking paper weight. I've been afraid to attempt extraction for fear of destroying what could be my showcase card. Then again, maybe I would just rather not know for sure!

Nice card Kevin. How many "Toront" cards do you think exist? I guess the only way for that to happen is something blocking the printing plate...

<<This Bug Shappe variation share the similar flaw on printer's plate as "Nodgrass" and "Murr'y" variations. On this Shappe verison, although the "R" was intended to be an "R" but it is not appear this way. The name on the front is supposed to read SHARPE, NEWARK, but instead reads as SHAPPE, NEWARK. Such variation was caused by broken printing plate or the ink was blocked by small particle and the ink was unable to fully printed on the cardboard. In fact, you can still see a hint of a "R", but collectors still consider such specimen as SHAPPE.>>

I guess that wraps it up in a nice bow.

Kevin, you sure to have alot of these T206 printing rarities....

Next time I am in Cali, maybe I can check them out.
