Default Question about 1972 Topps In Action

Excluding the High #'s,are any of the IA cards more difficult to obtain esp. in higher grades then others?Last night I was bidding on a Vida Blue IA PSA 8.5,myself bowing out at $70.Card went for nearly twice that.
Back to High #'s...are any of them more difficult then others?
Thanks,
Scott
PS.Back in the hobby to rebuild my collection I'm pleased to say I won a Clemente IA PSA 8 and a Aparicio IA PSA 9.Nice start to my 1972 set.

Scott,
When I built this set, there were several low pop IA cards...the Blue card, the 178 Schaal card, and the 708 Foli card come most immediately to mind. The Aaron and Mays IA cards also command a premium, even though I do not remember them being as low pop as the other three cards. At one point 6-7 years ago, the Foli IA card was a $150-250 card as a PSA 8. These 5 cards are notoriously tough to find centered (raw or otherwise), thus the premium on the PSA cards.

You may want to utilize a site like Card Target or VCP to give you a better idea of what some of the cards will cost you ....I have not used either, but many other posters here have.

Foli in the high number series is probably the toughest. Carew almost as tough. Reggie in action stands out as being tough tough tough.
