Default Wagon Tongue Bat help

Picked up this bat in a group. No idea what year it is. Any help would be appreciated. Interesting stamp on the knob. Looks like a name but I can't make it out. Thanks in advance for any help

Spalding Wagon Tongue bats date back to 1889, but your model looks closer to 1900...the older ones I believe were ring bats.

Dan is correct. The Spalding label is from the late 1890's to the early 1900's. the earlier Spalding labels were larger and more oval shape

This particular bat dates to c.1905, based on label, but definately post 1900. Very nice bat.

Default Wagon Tongue Bat

I agree with Joe early 1900s because of the style, very collectable with bat collectors. I think http://www.sportsantiques.com// (Charlton’s site) has some info on these.
