Default Chesterfield Football Cardboard Sign

Posted By: Rhys

Does anyone happen to have a scan of what this cardboard display piece looks like when complete? I am thinking of having the missing item reproduced for display purposes only which is inexpensive, I just need to know what the missing piece should look like.

Thanks so much in advance

Rhys- This isn't the actual display sign, but it is a Chesterfield add with the same player pose shown.

Hi, If you're just restoring the sign and not making reproductions or anything like that I might be able to help. Thanks, Carlton

Thanks for the larger photo.

Carlton, I dont really know you too well, but anyone who knows me can be sure that I dont deal in reproductions or anything like that. I just want to have the missing piece to add to the original piece for display purposes and I would mark it as restored on the back in case it ever sold. I apprecaite the willingness to help.

Rhys

OK boss, we'll get you a photo of it, but give me a little time it's a little hassle, but for you we'll make it happen. That one originally came from John Buonaguidi in Monterey, it went to Leland's, then I think Herman Kaufman....if it's the same one. I once talked to the framer who framed it, said it's really secure in the plexiglass. I have the large one. Do you have a restorer already? Chuck Kovasik in L.A. could fix it. He did a good job on my Hires sign seen in the link below.
