Default Jackie Robinson Pictures-- Date and Location Help

I just picked up these snap shots of Jackie Robinson (they came with a Jackie Robinson scrap book and I am pretty confident of the player id, though I will admit that really only the photo with him holding autograph book in hand clearly looks like Jackie) I was wondering if anyone could identify the location. The street lights seem really distinctive and may offer a clue. As to date I'm guessing early 50's based on an assumption that the child in the photo is Jackie Jr.

I am not certain but it looks like the guy in the first and third photos might be Don Newcombe.

Default Jackie Pics

I also tend to agree with Richard. Also the bottom photo with the sign Bishop dodgers on empire Blvd is in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. Also the 3 pics were taken at different times as from what I can see the men are in 3 different suits.

I think the first player looks more like relief pitcher Joe Black than Newcombe.

Here is a picture and the original negative of the two together in 1950. Based on Newcombe's build and facial features in this one I think the first and third pictues are Newcombe and the second one is Robinson. Very cool pictures nonetheless.
