Default Ted Williams Book on hitting

Posted By: Cat

Ted Williams wrote a book on hitting (literally). As I understand, it was primarily focused on the mechanics of hitting. If anyone has a copy they would be willing to sell, I am interested. Any information about Title, Publisher, copyright date would be appreciated too.

Thanks.

Default Ted Williams Book on hitting

It's called "The Science of Hitting" by Ted Williams with John Underwood. It is from 1971 and was published by Simon and Schuster.

I checked ebay, amazon and abebooks and it looks like this book was republished in 1986 and copies of that book are readily available. According to those sites the original goes for around $100-$200 on the amazon and abebooks sites with none having been on ebay recently or presently.

I have two of the original first edition (1971), but both are withdrawn library copies...if you would like one I would sell it to you for $60 shipped. Otherwise you can go the cheap route and snag the republished edition off of ebay for a couple of dollars.
