Default Latest Heritage Mailer

Anyone checked out the newest Heritage Mailer?

It advertises an away 1964 Mantle World Series Game worn jersey and shows it along with a photo of the Mick in an away uniform.

Usually AH's show the jersey with a photo of the player wearing the exact jersey. If this is Heritages intent, they have struck out.

I am no uniform expert, but just looking at the location of the "Y" in York in relation to the second and third button, NO WAY this is the same jersey.

For an estimate of $75,000 one would think a photo of Mick from a World Series would not be that hard to find.

That is pretty good remembering a uniform, and how it looked from attending a game, from 54 yrs ago. I can't remember what I did yesterday, sometimes.

Isn't it best guess now? That's all I hear when a rare bat or jersey comes up forsale. It has all the ingredients to be the one!

I believe to celebrate a World Series win back then, the would move the buttons and stretch the letters.

First thing I said to myself when I got the mailer is those jerseys don't match. Guess I wasn't the only one.

Now admittedly im no uniform guy
But the fact its says 1965 on the tag in the collar and on the tag on shirt bottom
Doesnt that mean its a 1965 uniform?
Any help appreciated

Huh? Does anything look familiar that you don't remember?

I would wait to read the catalog description. The Mantle photo may have just been picked for aesthetic/advertising purposes.

But, yes, I see what everyone else sees.
