Default Suggestions Wanted: Binders for Holding Protective Sheets

Wondering if folks here have suggestions for binders to hold various protective sheets for cards and ephemera.

Do you go out of your way to purchase archival safe binders, or is it enough that the protective sheets / pages are archival?

Any suggestions of binders that are safe enough, decent looking, and not too costly?

Thanks

As with most things you get what you pay for. I've been buying Cardinal brand D-Ring binders from Amazon and I've been very happy with them. They are not the cheapest option but I've found that the construction of the rings and the related mechanism is crucial. I had lots of cheap old binders that had rings that didn't line up after some usage and pages got caught in them or came loose.

I've never really considered my collections safety in regards to the binders I keep my stuff in. The pages are another matter of course (I lost things to the old PVC pages but that's another thread)

I use various sizes of the Itoya books for everything from snapshots to large newspaper pages. I also put card sheets in them. If properly stored you don't get the curling that happens in binders.

I use these for everything over standard 8x10 and have been very happy with them.
