Default WTB David Beckham RC

LCD Publishing preferred would consider Raven. The ones on ebay seem priced to the moon. Looking for mint condition.

Peter,

Since you are interested in the Raven card I was wondering if you have heard of the theory or have an opinion on it that this isn't actually his rookie. I first read about it here:

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...content_filter

If this is true, it will certainly damage the value of this card.

Does anyone else have thoughts and opinions on this?

Even if what he is saying is true, I still don't find it to be a big deal because it is a very cheap card. A PSA 10 example normally sells for around $100.

I only skimmed it but how could PSA be off by 5 years on a card made within the last couple of decades, surely more than one guy would have protested?

Default Beckham v Giggs r.c.

Looking at the article on the Raven card I would tend to agree with what is stated. With the LCD card the will be provenance available of the date of issue. When I find my stock of these cards (put away in the day in my loft) they are stashed in original counter display units and they will hopefully be dated but 1995 is about right. Nevertheless whilst Beckham is a global icon Ryan Giggs was far and away a better, more complete footballer. His rc is I believe his 1992 Topps Stadium Club card...unless somebody know more. I have some of these also and the Giggs card is a wonderful image but alas the Beckham card I guess is more widely desired because of his global image.

Default Beckham Raven card 2000/01

Checkout Football cartophilic Info Exchange where one of the leading lights in the field of football cards, Alan Jenkins, states that the Raven set was issued Circa 2000/01 season. Alan's football site lists thousands of sets and gives chronological info to support the issues. He is extremely knowledgeable on this subject
