(Now I've got to pay for the thing, and to that end, I'll be selling a c. 1927 Ruth/Gehrig ball, signed on one of their barnstorming tours, and 1 1928 Yankees ball.)

If anyone checked out every single signature on it, it would be you after the last debacle. The ball is gorgeous!!! Amazing!!!! AFTER it's paid for, that beauty should take most of the sting away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
