Default April Antiques Roadshow Card find

This may have been covered, but an April episode of Antiques Roadshow featured a collection of T206 and E95 cards found in an abandoned house that a couple bid on (bid included contents) and this is what they found.

You are in luck then, it appears that what was not noted was that the actual wallpaper in this abandoned house was comprised of 1987 Topps and 1989 Donruss!

At least your lucky to have finds.

Very interesting by a house for $16k and find cards worth up to 60k

That is a great investment

Anybody notice that on the top of one of the stacks what appeared to be a nice Cy Young portrait. If graded it could be a 10K card if sold in the present marketplace.

That e95 Cobb looks hand cut on the left -- is that common?

neat find, thanks for sharing!

$16k for a house in '83 is like what $100k today with inflation? Can't imagine the cards were worth more than a couple grand back then.

side note - I'm sure it was only for a short time, but I'd never display my cards outside let alone facing directly up at the sky. Eek!
