Default Cleveland Cavaliers win the NBA Championship

Tip o' the hat to LeBron, Kyrie, and company for bringing a title to Cleveland. I had no rooting interest in the outcome. As such, I was able to sit back and enjoy a great game seven.

Coming back from being down 3-1 was a stellar accomplishment for King James. I think it pushes him past Kobe on the All-Time best players list.

Just a quick post...not trying to stir the pot...just giving props to James and congratulating Cleveland for their championship.

Yep. The Warriors now go down in history as the best team not to win, not the best team ever. It's about championships, not regular season wins. Shocking that they lost three in a row including two at home. Curry's subpar performances were also surprising, I wonder if his injuries were a factor. But on a positive note I agree with Eric, James really cemented his place as one of the very top all time greats the past three games. That block was epic.

Default Unbelievable!

The curse is finally over.... That is all.jpg
I've witnessed Red Right 88, the Elway drive, the Byner fumble, the Shot, the 1995 Indians loss to Atlanta, the 1997 Indians losing in the bottom of the 9th, last years Cavs loss in the finals, etc. so this one exorcises a lot of ghosts..........

Default Curry-Thompson poor at 3's

The refs did a fine job with game 7. I know I have been hard on them, but the officiating mostly spot on correct. Great game to watch - stellar defense by both sides. Curry and Thompson went 6 of 24 from 3 point land. To me, that's the biggest reason they lost (defensive big man Bogut was indeed missed). The league MVP needed to shoot better. And no scoring last 4:38, ouch.

I normally would never root on LBJ. I find Curry more personable and fun as a fan favorite, but James did help make my 1995-96 Chicago Bulls go on as the greatest team ever!!

kudos to lbj for delivering on his promise. we always knew his athleticism was otherworldly, but now he's just so mentally strong compared to his first final against the mavs. nothing gets to him anymore...the moment, the deficit, the burden, he's just so calm amidst all the whirlwind around him.

i'm not a fan of his high school passive aggressive-ness high maintenance clique-y drama, but you can't deny his greatness anymore. congrats to rob dewolf and ohio.

He has laid to rest all on court criticism, he is an unworldly basketball player. But I too just cannot stand all the melodrama and pseudodrama that surrounds him, driven by a combination of his colossal ego, and a Twitter-mad culture. It's a circus act.

And what's with all these long, tearful, post game man hugs between opponents lol? Shake the other guy's hand, congratulate or console him, and move on.
