Default Does this 1965 Topps Mantle have a shot at a PSA 7?

In my opinion, this card is at least a solid EXMT to EXMT+. Does anybody think that it has a shot at a PSA 7?

Frank..probably doubt it woth those corners. I was fortunate to have a PSA2, and mine corners are way worse tho, but overall great eye appeal. I can see a 5, but standing back and looking, the pic kinda gives me the tilt effect at the top left where it look worn down towards that side. Maybe my eyes need adjusting, but i hope you grade well. Thats another card thats just awesome of Mick

The t/b centering would make a receiving a 7 tough and, as Chris pointed out, the corners would also make a 7 very tough.

You guys have swayed me on the chance at a 7. However, having it in hand, I do believe that it is a solid 6. I say 9 out of 10 times it gets a 6, with the one time it doesn't, it comes from the grader of death.

Default Mantle

Shane,

I doubt it given the corners...but still a nice looking card.

Yes; if 707 Sportscards submits it. For you, I see a strong EX+... at best, EX/NM. Still a nice card.

With the absolutely horrible inconsistency in PSA grading you never know.

I think you'd have a better shot with 4SC over 707.

Guys, you really need to put your full names in these posts. You are providing opinions about a TPG and sellers on Ebay.

Thanks.

It looks like it would grade a PSA 5 to me.
