Default 1968 Deckle Proof Sheet

Posted By: Al

Most folks are familiar with the 69 Deckle set from Topps....33 cars with player variations of cards 11 and 22. But anyone have the 1968 Deckle proof cards or sheets. Most of the proof cards/players did not make the 69 set, although Yaz made both. Also, the proof cards and the 9 player uncut sheets can be found with blue, black or red fascimile autographs. I think the blue is toughest. I have a black and red....but Bob F pigged the only blue one I have seen so I am still looking

I have 1/9th of the red set:

this is one of my favorite Topps proof cards, something about the pose and the lighting just strikes me as interesting.

That the three people posting in this thread are Al, Dave and Bob.

Although I don't collect the oddball sets, I do enjoy reading about them. Thanks for the posts, guys.
