Default 1948 "babe Ruth " signed mini baseball value?

I have a mini baseball dated 1948 signed by Babe Ruth. It has been in the family and passed to me by my great grandfather. I believe it was signed witnessed by my grandfather but he was deceased before the ball was given to me so I am not 100% sure. I was was wondering a possible value. The condition is OK obvious signs of age and the signature is faded but def. readable. I was also wondering if the mini baseball might be worth more or less, figuring more because of the rarity of the signed mini ball but i could be mistaken. I am also going to send it in to PSA to get it authenticated to increase the value. I will try to include pictures. thank you for any help.

These are from the Ford Motor Company and most are believed to be Ghost Signed, although there is a chance that there are a few real ones that exist. Here a link to a short article on them:

Thank you for your quick response. I guess the only way to know is to send it in to psa/dna to authenticate. in its condition below could you give me a ball park average of a real signed mini ball vs. a ghost one?
