I think this was / is 3 brothers, located in MI. I first bought from them via an ad in Sports Collectors Digest maybe 20 years ago. Then when feebay arrived, a few times from their auctions. Never a problem. Goods arrived as described / as pictured. Dunno how active they are anymore, but wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I believe it is owned by mile and Mark Skerbe (twin brothers). They are great guys and are honest as the day is long. They have been around for at least 20 years and are always at the National. You can’t go wrong with them.

Default Thumbs up

Bought a nice PSA 7 '69 Reggie from them in 2017, and finished the deal over the phone. Good service, rapid delivery, and no problems whatsoever.
Price was a fairly significant premium, but to be fair it was a premium card for grade, so not sure where they typically come in on value.

I would have no hesitations buying from them again, and enjoyed the experience.

Yep....they've been around forever. Have seen them at shows for years and years. Haven't bought much because I don't do the PSA high grade stuff that much but I've never heard anything bad about them.

There was also a Dennis Skerbe, but he passed away a little over 3 years ago. I think he was the other "S" in Triple S.

Agree all around. Made several BIN purchases from that eBay store in past year of high grade post-war HOF. In my experience they were certainly asking full value, but never unreasonable. Still very happy with items and transactions.

LOL...Just another scamming boob out there Triplesac.

Especially funny to see the purple label guy giving them a verbal b j for buying from them. I wonder if they were sold by the purple label guy with purple labels or not, before the salon appointment?

I hope people can see that it's all trimmed and recolored. All of it. Thanks PSA, Nice job.

Everyone is in on it, IMHO EXCEPT the purple label guys, they are the real heroes here.

No worries my friend. The "stakeholders" have our back. They'll take care of it.

Why wouldn’t they spend good money when they know they can slip shit past a completely clueless PSA and make even more money. Yep, hurts to say it, but I’m done. Completely fcking done. Hanging it up for a long time. Guess I’ll check back in a few years to see if anything has changed. Nobody’s getting my hard earned cash for alterered cards anymore. Done!

Hi Howard,

I've gotten 1 or 2 higher end items from there for my registry set in the past couple years and was satisfied.

So many people are clueless and have no idea who is altering cards or not, wake up there’s been a lot of these guys around for a long time and they’re not going anywhere. It’s really a sad situation....I go back to People do not want to believe their cards are altered in PSA holders, but guess what many are. Fairytales can come true they can happen to you if you continue to believe this garbage from PSA. They do not know if the card is altered or not, they do not care, it’s all about numbers and volume.

Don’t be a sucker.

These guys have been around since at least the early 1990s. If they in fact have been doing what the BO thread accuses them of that's potentially a LOT of bad cards they've put into circulation.

PSA touts their impeccable reputation, interestingly.

Well, hopefully people downplaying all this and trying to draw a narrow circle around it may now start to get a sense that this issue goes beyond Brent and Gary.

What I would give to see certain auction houses' consignment records.

Maybe Jeff can represent SSS as well?

The leaps in price of some of those cards is absolutely mind-boggling. Moreso then most of the examples I saw in the PWCC thread.

Crazy.

Add that Maris to the 5k and up list..

Glad i largely stayed away from these guys and no longer regret 'missing' out on a few cards.

Perhaps some lawyers on the board want to say some bad things about them as way to get hired...

That's some damaging evidence in my opinion. Aren't these guys PSA Authorized Dealers and doesn't PSA put a guarantee behind their Authorized Dealer's cards or has that program been discontinued?

I seem to recall many years ago WhenItWasAGame aka "WIWAG" got caught switching cards in PSA holders and the fact that they were endorsed by PSA got PSA sued by a third party for damages. Whether PSA still stands behind their dealers products is a question that I can't answer. Regardless, the whole mess is disgusting and I can confidently say this is only the tip of the iceberg.

As I posted, PSA touted their impeccable reputation in an ad for them when they launched a new website. Indeed.

And this is the company that's going to fix things. Uh, right. What did Joe allegedly not tell the truth about in his WIWAG testimony, I can't recall.

Day 1 from the National Report Of Newport Beach

Lines out of control from 1600-2000 tomorrow looks to be the same if not more busy..

I expect PSA leadership will keep the status quo from Orlando.....

People seem to not care one bit about PSA’s failures in grading altered cards....

They are in on the gag.

It's so rampant it's actually very funny that they had us believing this BS this long. Ask yourself where were all these 10's growing up? That's right, they are made after the fact and sealed in a stupid plastic holder, to be cracked out and fucked with again at a latter date. ALL OF THEM. In and out they spin by assholes that can't just leave well enough alone. Losers that couldn't figure out a real career so they thought they would just scam people. The lowest form of human scum, IMHO. This is the biggest scam since tulip bulbs.

Keep up the great work Super Dan, Corndog and Agent 312. Never Stop. Continue to show the people what's really going on. Hundreds of thousands cards and a billion dollars skimmed in 15 years by my abacus.

What really blows my mind is that if it wasn't for the hubris of thinking they were uncatchable geniuses they could've been, well, uncatchable.

I'm guessing that only the dumb ones are caught, lol. I don't want to be cynical, but let's be real...most of them got away with it.

Somebody once said that 60% of bank robbers are never caught, and 40% are idiots. I would argue that 100% are idiots, but the point of the quote is that most of them get away. I suspect only the bottom few percent have been outted as of yet.

Sad and disturbing, I know. Ugh.

Especially funny to see the purple label guy giving them a verbal blow job for buying from them. I wonder if they were sold by the purple label guy with purple labels or not before the salon appointment?

I hope people can see that it's all trimmed and recolored. All of it. Thanks PSA, Nice job.
equally as funny as the phone call from these 2 dip shits in the middle of the night threatening to write false claims about my business and sue me that I recorded for posterity sake. Nice job guys threatening me on the phone to write false claims and leaving a message calling me chickenshit to talk to you. I can give a shit less about you. you are both idiots trying to threaten me, IN MY OPINION. I won't shut up about this scam. I don't expect you to be involved, but the way you act, you must have something to hide?

I did not say anything about your business other than in my opinion it is stupid.
