Default August Pickups...

Well, it appears that I'll start off the month of August...

Another Brandon Weeden. The auto appears to be a little faded(don't have it in hand yet, so I'm holding out hope it was just the scanner being thrown off by the reflection), but either way, it's the refractor, and I got it for a somewhat fair price..

Haven't got it yet, but it's in the mail. Wonder how many were made? Thanks Neal.

Thanks Steve. I was wondering if Josh got those flame tattoos on his arms when he was on the Bakersfield Blaze? They sure do go great with the team name!

Coupla new pickups. Ben Sheets '00 chrome refractor, and '96 Bowman Foil Pierzynski. Two more for my fantasy team rookie card collection. I know it may be a weird idea for a set...

Our league has no keepers, but I may do this every year.. Only the 2002 Donruss Elite Laroche. 1997 BBM Kuroda and a 2002 Valverde away from completing this year's set.. Sheets will probably be off my roster by the end of the week though..

Here's an early 1990's signature of Jeter and some National freebies.

Let's be honest. You really posted that sheet to show off David Doorneweerd..

Plus, Jeff Hostetler threw me for a loop. Great sheet Kilo..

The Classic Barry Larkin is very nice. I never understood why 87/88 Classic doesn't get much "love".

They have some sweet looking cards, with the green, yellow, red, and blue borders

Jason, it looks like you shifted focus +100 years (give or take a few) after hitting 518 on T206! Those 80's rookies make me nostalgic though

Yes, I really have! I bought some old wax before and after the National and it brought back a lot of childhood memories. So I decided to focus on a HOF set (at least one of each non-executive member of the HOF), beginning with the more modern (and less expensive) players. I'm well on my way given the modern cards are inexpensive and I already had a ton of HOFers from my T206 set completion. Hope all is well with you!
