I have a full ticket in great condition from the September 9th game where Koufax threw his perfect game. I have found some stubs on line but no full tickets. Anyone know anything about this ? TIA

Thanks, I got some feedback from an auction house today. Looks like it may be headed there.

Default Koufax perfect game full ticket

Hello & welcome to net54.
I am advanced no-hi (and Perfect Game) ticket collector.
Your full Loge Box season ticket to this game is quite rare & looks to be in nice shape on the front. Is the back free from damage (no writing, glue or other blemishes)?
If yes, it is likely that your ticket is worth $2500- $4,000 to the right collector based on my 46 years of collecting this theme.
Just curious what auction house are you going to consign with?
Good luck with finding this tickets next home.
Scott

Default Koufax perfect game full ticket

Looks like SCP will have this full ticket in their next auction, it is shown on their website. They have described it as "one of 2 known", and although I own the other ticket already, I did contact the seller and made him an offer in the upper end of Scott's range (before I even saw Scott's estimate), but the seller very politely rejected my offer. I guess we will see what it is worth soon.

thanks Scott, but I probably won't be bidding on this one. Don't really need 2, just thought it might be cool to reunite both of them.

Seats are next to each other, which is why I thought it would be great to bring them together.

I wonder how the original poster obtained his ticket. He has been radio silent for a while. Would be a cool story to hear how the tickets were split up.

Default Koufax

I inherited this ticket along with others. I wish I knew the story behind it to know how they were split up.

Wow, $11,300 was the final realized price for this Koufax perfect game full ticket in last night's SCP Auction!!
That's exceedingly strong, IMHO.

Rick,
Your adjoining seat ticket is looking like a real bargain now.

Scott, I didn't think so when I bought it, but I knew how rare it was so I stepped up to the seller's price. The auction made a big deal out of how the one they were selling was the highest graded of the 2, but I believe mine would actually grade higher if I resubmitted it for grading. I only had it "Authenticated" when I sent it to PSA because I think grading tickets is a silly idea, especially if you don't intend to sell it. I just wanted it housed in a protective case.

Thanks Adam. Getting very difficult to find quality Koufax items to add to the collection.

I checked out your website, very well done, and interesting to see how the boxers have the old style pose on the early cards.
