Could be they weren't sold up here, which is a good possibility, or my folks just never bought them for some reason?

Love the Gibby team issues!

Adam, I have a back panel of a Kellogg's box that shows a Yaz card (my main collection). I think it's 1980.

Very cool to see this! I remember that box from my childhood. Recall pulling a Cobb and Hornsby, at the time having no idea who they were (I was about 9yo at the time). At that age I was more interested in the pastries than the cards but for some reason they made a strong impression. I saved them though and started collecting Topps not long after.

On to some recent additions. I don't specifically pursue graded for the 52T, it just turned out that way this time around...

Default 1 win more than I ever had...

Thanks, guys.

...nice pick-ups, all!

Out of curiosity, I looked up Denehy's career stats - and I threw up a little in my mouth. Haha All kidding aside - I was happy to add the Denehy/Seaver card to the collection.

I've been collecting since the early 1970s and never heard of the 1964 Topps standups until a few years ago. Never laid eyes on one until I got a Clemente a few months ago. These lower-grade Mays and Aaron cards arrived in the mail this week. Now I just need a reasonably priced Frank Howard. This set has really nice eye appeal.

Very nice, Larry - I'll bet you are stoked! For those who aren't familiar, this is a 1948 Gunther Beer Washington Senators PC.

Larry, the Old Cardboard HOF Rookie Card Database lists this PC as one of Early Wynn's RCs, and they are seeking a pic of an example to include in their Database. I encourage you to send OC scans of your PC.

Awesome pickup, Larry. I love obscure, tough regional issues. Nearly my entire collection is stuff from out of the mainstream.

I was not familiar at all with the Gunther Beer postcard set until seeing your post. I then did some Googling to learn more.

Went to a card show and these were too cheap to pass up. Might need to do a Jensen run now.

Default Nolan RC

Really pleased to add this Nolan Ryan RC with such great centering today. And at a price lower than expected.

With this upgrade, it looks like I'll have a nicely-centered PSA 7 to offer up on the Net54 BST now -- I hope it ends up with a good home

Been looking for a clean ungraded copy of the ‘68. I’m pretty satisfied with this one. As an Os fan it doesn’t get much better than the two Robinsons on a multiplayer card. ‘67 came close but they squeezed old Hank Bauer between the two and it just didn’t work as well for me, ha.

Picked these up at a local auction a week ago Friday night. Had 26 of the 33 cards plus about 10 duplicates. The Mantle may be in the best shape of all of them. Overall pretty good condition.
