Looks like a bit of a hesitation on the "e," which makes us doubt the authenticity of the autograph.

Hey, for all we know, that might be Willie Mays (not THE Willie Mays).

The 1902 is a head-scratcher, though.

It doesn't match Mays' normal signing style, but for $3 it's worth a purchase and sending to get authenticated. The 1902 is an obvious typo, I think he meant 1922 which was Mays' 2'nd year as a pro if I'm not mistaken.
