Default Old Cardboard - 1st issue discussion

Okay, I'll take Ryan's hint and start a more positive thread. Why don't you all who have received the magazine, discuss some of the articles. As soon as I receive mine, I will chip in.

Go for it...

The magazine is a quality read, they have feature articles on the hobby's earliest publication "Card Collectors Bulletin" from Jefferson Burdick which debuted on 1/1/37. There are also articles on this years national, a 1911 PCL card issue Western Playground", a story on the Wheaties '33 Babe Ruth flip book, 19th Century Baseball currency & the Tim Jordan game set of 1910. Plus Editors notes, and some ads from the major auction houses to legendary collector Anthony Nex.
Glad i hooked up w/ a subscription.

That darn thread won't die but alas I was speaking of the magazine getting bigger...which I am sure it will as it matures. Nothing can hold back vintage baseball card addicts.....later

Write an article on Cobb.

Contributers will come out of the woodwork.

Best line in "Field Of Dreams."

Nobody liked that Bast@rd.

Can't forget about this line. "Don't we need a catcher ?" "Not If you put it over the plate we don't."
