I am examining a scrapbook , circa 1930s, with these pics in it. Apparently blank back, postcard size, glossy, notice names on the bottom.
Any thoughts on what they are and value are appreciated.

Todd- do you have ideas on value of those two?

obviously the Ruth is the key card, and Foxx will be one of the higher HOFers too. Again, condition will mean alot. Marty Pritchard has a Ruth in his ebay store now for $3700 in PSA 4, but I don't know how long it's been there and I let my VCP subscription lapse.

Todd - are you sure those are Worch's? I thought Worch cards had the players name etched into the photo such as the Ruth you noted in Marty's auction. The photos Richard posted above do not have the etched names but rather a name block.

Is this a different variation of the Worch cards?

I have seen many different styles for the Worch cards...I'm not even sure how they can all be designated as Worch's anyway since there is no manufacturer listed on any of them. I had a Gabby Hartnett that looked like it was homemade it was so amateurish looking...it also had a postcard back.

there are several styles of Worch's nameplates, as Dan noted. Many are identified in the SCD big book, but not all. The boxed nameplate you see in Richard's cards are consistent with one of the Worch types. In addition to the gomez, if you look at the Wm. Dickey card Marty has listed, you can see that it too has a different style from Richard's, yet I have one that seems to match Richard's:
