Default Need Help On Value: Mostly 1960s Topps Lot

Looking for some expert opinion on the value of this group of cards. All raw and in plastic cases. I know that they're authentic as they're from my Dad when he was a kid. Various conditions, some shot, some nice. All are Topps, there are a total of 18 cards.

He's considering selling them, I have no idea how to consider their condition. I know the book prices are way above where these are.

Guesstimates appreciated.

My guess is that most of these cards are worse case scenario Gd/Vg and best case scenario VG/VGEX, worse case is that many of them have some sort of crease or creasing but I can't tell that for sure based on your scans...

Worse case scenario, you should add up all the high book NM beckett value and multiply by 10-15% to get an estimated market value. Best case scenario, cards do not have creases/wrinkles, and you should be able to get 15-20% of NM high beckett book. The '62 Mantle, 58 Williams AS, '62 Maris are particularly popular cards and you might get someone to reach and pay a full 20% of book. Just my opinion...

I agree with Patrick. Sometimes certain cards or players can drive up a cards market value a bit. I think the ones Patrick pointed out are the best in the ones you are showing.

My guess is $500 for the group.

2 62 Mantles in similar condition on Ebay sold recently for $73 and $96

A Ted Williams in similar condition sold for $66

Several 64 Mays in similar condition sold for $25 to $35

A whole bunch of 62 Musials sold for $18 to $40.

2 ungraded Mantle/Boyers sold for $17 and $19. Several did not sell for more than that.

3 similar Maris sold for $39, $40 and $40

The rest of the cards are probably worth less combined than these 6.
