Default 1980 topps bird magic

Was there a variation of this rookie card that doesn't have the perforations?
I have one, and all that I've seen have perforations separating the players.
Check out this auction http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-1981-To...item2c82b10e2e

I would think this would be the easiest card to spot a fake, but there are over 20 bids and over $160. The seller has a lot of high end cards ungraded he is selling with no seller feedback. I'd beware

Thanks

It may be cut from a sheet. About 15 years ago I had an uncut sheet WITHOUT the perforations and it had two Bird/Erving/Johnson cards on it. I sold it in an auction but I wish I still had it.

Just a follow up as I took a look at some of the other cards he was selling. Not saying I'm an expert, but there appears to be strong evidence the cards are reprints. I would stay far away, but it's sad as many are still bidding.

It might be real who knows but it could be the scanner. A lot of scanners dust removal feature will remove the perforations when scanning.
