That card does not even look close to being right. One of the worst cases of sunburn I have ever seen on Mickey.

I sent the seller an email requesting better scans, preferably against a dark background. It doesn't look right to me either.

Not a PSA expert by far, but doesn't the PSA font and spacing look off on the flip also?

From the scan it looks more fake than a 3 dollar bill.

The seller informed me that there were no cracks in the holder and that he'd post a picture against a dark background so I could tell. The coloring definitely looks off and I am not certain about the corner wear on this one....

Just because the other cards look okay doesn't mean this one is.

The initial pic of a holdered card against a white back ground is always a warning sign. Also noted they had quite a few vintage card sales recently....so wondered what the story was.....

Not saying that at all . What I'm saying is he used a filter on the pics to hide blemishes and improve the color pop on the cards he has listed .

Fair enough. I didn't notice much in the way of colors on the other Mantles, which is why I was questioning you. The corners still raise some red flags for me.

for me a big piece of why it looks fake to me is the thickness of the black line on his bat. looks a lot thicker than other Mantle rookies

It also looks way to thick around his uniform.

Check out the Stargell rookie , Brock rookie , the goudey cards . They are all funky the seller is playing with the color and structure with a filter .

I personally I'm more curious about the jeter rookie psa 8 . I don't think those Scratches and scuffs are just on the holder.

And did you notice how almost all of his PSA cards are in old holders that are easy to tamper with. I wouldn't trust any of his cards.

The Mantle is odd looking and questionable, but the other cards just look like poor scans to me.

That Koufax color looks terrible, but there is no way he is resealing a Beckett case without it being blatantly obvious. The color saturation is cranked to the max on every scan. The 69' Czonka makes that super clear, it almost looks 3D, lol.
