Default 1952 Gray Back Question

Been on the forums for a while but I have hardly ever post. I could use some value help. I have a PSA order coming tomorrow or Monday and have a pretty nice card in it. A 52 Topps Eddie Waitkus gray back PSA 5.5. The previous high grade was a 4 and the last sale according to VCP was $1425 a little over a year ago. Given the rarity and the highest grade for the card any thoughts? Would an auction house be the way to go with it?

The big buyers for the card are all on ebay. You can list it or consign it and you'll do fine

Default It's one of

It's one of those items that I don't think highest graded is as big a deal as other issues. Could sell for what the 4 sold for up to multiple times the 4 price. It's a great card and a nice score but one of those issues where prices don't always jump as much as on other issues as the grades go up.

If it was a 6, you'd be off to the races. That's the benchmsrk for the top guys going after the set. However, He's still a fairly lol pop, so you'll be fine
