Tbob and Tim Newcomb both wrote articles and they are a must! They are in the VCBC...I forget which numbers though...

Thanks guys, appreciate it. For some reason this set is very rapidly pulling me in to collect. I can't even put a finger on it as to why. Anyway, I want to get as much info as possible before I go ahead with it. Thanks again!

Bob and Tim's article in VCBC's last issue (#37?) is the definitive source for information on the set and its scarcities. Scare up a copy on eBay or see if one of them will send you a copy.

Bill, I have scans of the whole set online at the above URL. Tim & Bob's great VCBC article will provide the details on the set.

Bill,

Which are your favorite cards among the T207? Mine are the Buck Weaver and Tris Speaker.

Peter,
Going to have to go with the favorite team here and say Speaker and Wood. Though the two I really want to get my hands on are the Weaver and Johnson. Favorite pic though in the set is probably the Barry.

Be careful ordering from that site Bill. I ordered a couple a year or two ago and they never showed up. I'm not saying they won't show up, but it's a pain to get the money back. Maybe someone else has a different story.

Bruce,

I love your collection man. Not just the t207's. Problem is...I start to feel like my own collection sucks after looking at yours. JK.

For the kind words about our articles on thie great set. Bob and I both had them in issue 37, and then the second part of my article appeared in #38. Bill, if the VCBC site doesn't produce back issues for you, let me know and I'll get a copy to you somehow.

There were some beautiful (and expensive) T207s at the National, and I find myself wishing I had bought more of them than I did.

Tim
