"__, __, __, __. __ am the Frito Bandito."

Do any of you old timers remember the Frito corn chips TV commercial from the late 60's(?) or early 70's (?) with the Frito Bandito singing the above?

Better yet, do any of you still have the Frito Bandito pencil eraser that you could get when you bought Frito corn chips? If so, anybody have a picture of one of those erasers?

Abbott: You throw the ball to Who?

Costello: Naturally.

Abbott: That's it.

Costello: Same as you! Same as YOU! I throw the ball to who. Whoever it is drops the ball and the guy runs to second. Who picks up the ball and throws it to What. What throws it to I Don't Know. I Don't Know throws it back to Tomorrow, Triple play. Another guy gets up and hits a long fly ball to Because. Why? I don't know! He's on third and I don't give a darn!

Abbott: What?

Costello: I said I don't give a darn!

Abbott: Oh, that's our shortstop.

Daryl,

Right on the money with the dialogue. One of the greatest comedic routines ever, in my opinion.

To all, out of curiosity, why does another batter step up to the plate right after a triple play?

Naturally, one of baseball's great mysteries.

Best,

Eric

You need to take anything regarding numbers with a grain of salt in Lou's World. As a child, he tought me that seven "13s" equals 28. Consider yourself officially "old" if you can envision Lou convincing Bud the same.
