Default Looking for scans of missing cards (Topsy Hartsel)

Posted By: Dave

I'm looking for front and back scans of my missing cards. Most I'll probably
never find to purchase. But I would like to have a scan to show.
T208 Fireside ( Topsy Hartsel )
T215 TypeI, TypeII, and Pirate ( Topsy Hartsel)
E270 Red Border ( Topsy Hartsel )
W600 Sporting Life Cabinets ( Topsy Hartsel )
1910 Punch Card -A Cuban card set ( Topsy Hartsel )

Thanks Dave

The link below is a scan of many of the Punch cards. The photocopy is light, and it is not possible to make out most of the names, so I'm not sure if Hartsel is pictured. Maybe you can tell. Good luck.

This is the first time I have heard of this issue. Maybe one of the Cuban experts like Ryan could chime in with details on this issue. It looks like one of the players I collect, Ira Thomas, is part of the set.

Any details would be appreciated.

Thanks, Patrick

Here's a nice image so the rest of you can compare (I know you already have this one Scott!).

The link below has some information about the set. Ryan can certainly add alot more detail if he wishes. No one is more knowledgeable about the issue than Ryan. I can tell you that the cards are exceedingly rare, at least as rare as the most difficult American issues (E107 Breisch Williams, Four Base Hits, Just So Tobacco, etc.) Very few of even the most advanced Cuban collectors own an example.

Thanks for all your help. Does anybody have a scan of the back of a T208 Fireside?
I'm still looking for a few other scans.
Thanks
Dave

Topsy Hartsel (Tully Frederick Hartsel)

I believe this is his W600 card. Name on card is incorrect.
