Such an iconic card for collectors. I wish I could make an offer, but sadly my funds are not high enough right now.

Can you scan with a black or dark background...seems to be a lot of frosting on edges of holder.

Where's the frosting? I don't see cause for alarm here based on what's viewable.

Back of card above Charles....looks like a crack...pins on front scan look popped..is it too much to ask for a scan with a dark background before you spend 6,000 for a card with a blacked out serial number. Did not accuse anyone just asked for better pic.

How do you know what area? Is this supposed to be a scavenger hunt?

I would assume so that the flip isn't easily duplicated for scam artists...it's somewhat of a common practice for higher priced items...not for everyone, but I see it here and there.

Where do you live since you want the buyer to pick up. I think that would help prior to us making offers.
Thanks

I believe I asked to PM me with offers. Some people have and some haven't. I take it, if you don't do that then you are not interested and fishing. I have a couple of people that made offers and I will contact them again. Thanks for the interest.

Please explain how when someone asks for a firm price that you will accept, and you say "A competitive offer for a very strong 2." it is fishing?

Funny, posting my exact line to you. I think you are the one who's fishing...

That's crap! How can one make an informed offer if they do not know where they would have to go to pick up the card?

As they say in law school, the seller is master of his offer. But it does seem a bit unusual to offer a card for pickup only at an undisclosed location and not to have an asking price.

All I know is that it would maximize value, to showcase a card like this in the right light-- for example a flush, high-rez scan that shows the entire piece, and location to be picked up. Could only help elicit the best possible offers.

This is the most "secretive" For Sale offer I've ever seen!

I am sure he is not a scammer. He simply wanted to do a deal in a particular way, which is his prerogative.

For what its worth, I traded some PMs and seller was more than open to answering questions and very responsive.
