Default Ebay Seller Rarefindsauctionsusa Mickey Mantle Baseball Forgery

Nice find, Brandon. What a waste of a nice baseball as you already stated.

This Mickey Mantle forgery listed by seller "rarefindsauctionsusa" makes the "Top 5" of the ugliest Mantle forgeries for 2012.

Paul that piece is perfect. I would not pay that kind of money but to me those are two nice autographs.

Perhaps it's time for Leon to make a separate Mantle forum

Default batting practice

I guess you can still use the ball for batting practice - at least it's not a total waste.

Chris, my opinion is anyone who offers for sale a Mantle, DiMaggio signed ball/picture with a high price tag should have a certificate of authenticity. As for the signatures in the photo, I don't like the Mantle, it has a right slant in the (a) which I think looks like a sideways egg. I am not saying it's bad. I would pass on it.The J. DiMaggio looks like nothing I am familiar with. I see allot of Mantle on eBay which are certified by Upper Deck I don't like UD certified Mantle balls. They look like Mickey MaUtle. I would pass on the photo signatures and most UD certified Mantle balls. Here is a PSA certified picture Identical to the one I posted. I like this one.

Not even close to the "Mautle" that you refer to.

And that's a beautiful Joe D, as my good friend Shelly already wrote.

Wait. Wait.

Has there been a belief that Mantle UDA balls aren't real?
