Default 1869 Peck & Snyder question

This may be a dumb question, but is there a specific reason all of these cards that keep popping up are all graded Authentic instead of getting a numerical grade?

Because it is a photograph pasted onto a backing so it is two parts. I think no graders will give this a numerical grade.

I've never seen one in person so I was totally unaware of that. Thanks for the info!

Default not quite

I asked this exact question to Derek Grady, head grader at SGC, about 2-3 days ago. He said as long as there are no issues they will numerically grade them. Most of the Peck and Snyders have been trimmed or have had other minor alterations done to them. The one that just sold for 47k (after juice) in REA had some inpainting on one of the creases.....Other CDV's can be graded numerically too as long as there are no alterations...regards

Thanks for posting that! It's the first one I've ever seen with a numerical grade.
