Default 1957 Mantle PSA 8 Question

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

What do you guys think? Centering looks bad going from top to bottom. Had a starting bid at 1900 and didn't get a single bid. SMR is 2200. I am building the '57 set in straight 8's and still need to get the Mantle.

Any comments or suggestions.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hmm... That's tough. I personally think it's a nice looking card, the extra border on the top is not that bad. I agree with the grade. An 8(mc) went for $499 which is less than PSA 6 cards usually go for ($525-550).

IF YOU HAVE THE COIN, GO FOR IT. $1900 isn't crazy, IMO.

Agree: Little heavy on the top border . . . if you can live with that. Good price, but that's a lot of coin for the key card in the set not to be fully centered. Looks like an old flip. Would it get an 8 today? Maybe. Maybe not.

Centering and overall eye appeal is KEY....that 2nd 57 Mantle looks pack fresh.
