Default Topps reusing team photos?

I know that Topps reused player photos from year to year, especially in the late '60s. And sometimes player photos may be 2-3 years old.

But recently I was looking to see if I could find a young Pete Rose in the 1963 Topps Reds team photo and I could not find him. So looking around, I also took a glance at the 1962 Topps team card and it was the same team photo. No wonder Rose wasn't in the '63. And it's also on the '64 Team card - the same photo.

Has anyone else noticed this with other team photos on Topps cards?

I believe Topps used the same Orioles team photo in 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1975.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Topps was famous for reusing pictures for years and years, team and individual.

What surprises me is the fact you'll see cards with the same pics of players from different manu's occasionally. Some of my 52 Topps cards have the same player pics/photos as some Bowman. cards.

The pain of my hometown Washington Senators moving after the 1971 season was compounded by Topps re-using their picture on a 1972 Texas Rangers team card. All the former Senators had their Washington uniforms airbrushed away on their individual '72 cards, but the team card makes no effort to conceal their Senators uniforms -- a final kick in the groin to Washington fans.

They used the same team photo for the Red Sox from 1960-64. Since yaz wasn't on the 1960 team (61 rookie year) that means he didn't appear on a team card until 65 (which was also reused in 66 and 67). 1972 and 73 were the same too.
