Default Yankee Pinstripes

I'm actually a Mets fan, but I do love old Yankee stuff. I know a lot of people don't like the game used cards, but I am a big fan of the older stuff. Here is my small collection of Yankee Pinstripes (Ruth is barely a stripe, but it's there ):

Very cool. I hate the thought of cutting up a gamer of any of these guys, but just looking at the cards, I like 'em.

Sort of like hamburger - I don't like to think of how it's made, but boy do I love to eat 'em. Lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes.

Thanks Tom! Mmm Heinz 57, or better yet, A1! I could go for some french fried potatoes right now.

Even when these cards came out I was not a fan of cutting them up and I avoided them, but after 15-20 years I've softened and realized that I will never afford, nor want to spend the money to get an original and I prefer the card format to a large jersey that I would be paranoid to own/store. I have a healthy appreciation for the history and these little swatches bring me that much closer.
