Initially, I thought the sign was a fantasy piece because I did not know Billy Martin was a spokesperson for ham. More porky! Less fatty! The item came with a Billy Martin's Ham pamphlet (with two recipes) and this Ebay seller has a print ad for sale (https://www.ebay.com/itm/185836110639). So, Billy actually pitched hams. The sign is likely one of a kind, because the picture of Billy and the ham were enlarged and glued (??) to the medium the lettering is professionally done. Either way, I really like it!

Thanks! I first saw the sign/picture (??) back in April. The seller requested local pick-up only. I inquired about shipping and the seller said he would check on shipping costs. Last week, I reached out again to see if he had looked into the cost of shipping. Apparently, FEDEX has an art box. A deal was struck and I now own the piece! It is an oddball piece!

Thanks Scott.. My mistake in op I said 77 but looking at the Ryan can with the text in the baseball makes me say 1978. All the cans on the shelves behind the kids have the square twxt box and are from 1977. RC did not have the marketing budget of Coke or Pepsi so posters and displays were scarce.

Billy Martin sign is great, as is the Blatz. As a child of the Midwest, I always thought “Blatz” sounded like a good approximation of puking.
