Default Fake Bill Ripken Whiteout on eBay

Seller Isaini310 has sold several and is selling another fake Bill Ripken Whiteout on eBay. I know these are fake as I purchased one from the seller off eBay a few weeks ago. I reported it.

Did you leave feedback? All of the feedback for his previous whiteout Ripkens seem to be positive.

Not sure if he is a member over here or not, but there is a site dedicated to the 1989 Bill Ripken Fleer card. The site owner has worked pretty hard to educate others about these cards. Worth a look for those of you interested in the card.

By off eBay I meant not through ebay, so no I could not leave feedback.
I eBay messaged one of the previous buyers before I bought mine and sadly BGS graded there fake as real.

This card has a dimple over the bat knob from the Black Box being removed and the gloss from being reglossed has a different texture over the same area.

As far as the Bill Ripken website I email with Jon the guy who runs it on a semi regular basis and emailed with him several times about this card.

Default 1989 Fleer Rypken

Given all the creative fakes of this card, not just the white out versions, they are almost a collectible of a sort in and of themselves

I didn't know there was still a demand for this card. Color me surprised.

Default 1989

In addition to Topps sets, I also collect Fleer baseball, 1923 and 1959 to 2007. I picked up several of the many Ripken variants...and fake variants....back in the day. The Randy Johnson from that set is similar with several real and some imagined variants. And the disappearing triangle on Guillermo Hernandez was fun too....and there was the Treadway "Target"

Nice cards Al. Without actually going through a ton of cards I have around 25 different real Bill Ripken versions and about 20 Randy Johnson versions. That set was full of errors also including the sideways S Curt Young and the Tom Brookens/Mike Heath wrong back pair.
The only 2 fake/altered Randy Johnson cards I have are 1 where someone took the Marlboro version and made it look like a clear sign version by removing the light red from the sign and one where the whole sign was removed and there is just a big white box.
I would like to hear about any fake/altered versions of the Ripken or Johnson card anyone has. I collect them also just hate paying real card money for altered cards.

Default Fakes

SCD actually lists at least two Topps fakes as fakes that I know of. They are in my view collectibles of a sort in their own right
