Default Ho hum Cubs Win

Down 6-0 the Cubs:

Put their left handed reliever in left field to use him two innings later on the mound. He makes a remarkable catch in the ivy, while in left.

The catcher breaks up a game ending double play in the ninth with his legs.

Tag the Seattle closer with three runs in the bottom of the ninth, the last scoring on a wild pitch, to tie the game.

Move position players around the field like checkers in the late innings using 22 players in the process

Use Lester, hitting .075, as a pinch hitter in the 12th with Heyward on third and one out, with Lackey warming up in the pen. With a two strike count he lays down a perfect bunt to win the game.

Gotta love Maddon.

This could be the year the Cubs bring the World Series back to the north side of
Chicago without "Three-Fingered" Brown.
