Default Moe Berg Stuff

I usually only play with cards, but I've been on a Moe Berg kick lately and have picked up a couple of items: and autographed program and the 1923 Princeton yearbook with Moe on the baseball team - shortstop! What other cool Berg items are out there in your collections?

I am planning on getting the Berg autograph certified (I got it with a couple others in Heritage so I'm confident its good). Do I submit the whole page and get the three autos certed? Just the Berg? Do I cut it so I have a solo Berg. Unsure what to do.

Interest in Berg will only skyrocket when the movie finally comes out.

I would not cut it up.... it is too cool as-is. In fact, I would not even submit it. You know it's good... no dispute.

But if you feel you need to submit, I would advise keeping the entire sheet in tact. Great stuff!

Edit.... And DON'T let them slap a sticker on it!

Thanks, my reason for submitting is two-fold:

1. Get it entombed to protect it.
2. Someday it will be sold and this makes it easier

Thanks for the input!

It's a beautiful item. I agree that you should absolutely not cut it up.
I also agree that there is no reason to cert it now. You can entomb it yourself cheaply and get it certed by the most popular/respected TPA at the time you are going to sell it.

Nice items guys! This isn't in the same league, but...

Written and self published by Moe Berg's sister. I think only a couple hundred copies were made.

About a year ago, I bought three copies of this from a guy who told me he got it out of a house he bought and renovated years ago in Newark NJ.
He turned it into a few apartments if I remember correctly. He said his crew told him they found more copies of it but had already trashed them before he saw them.

Possibly the house was owned by friends of the Bergs.
I remember being told by old time Newark residents that they lived on south 13th street. Later Ethel moved to nearby Belleville.
