So what did you win tonight?
I didn't win anything tonight but did win the 1940 Lone Ranger set with premiums last night.
Hopefully I can come away with something nice tomorrow night.
Good luck to everyone
Alan

If anyone on the board won Lot # 1501 (large group of Jewish ballplayer cards), please let me know. The Sid Gordon Bread for Energy bread label is one of the last catalogued items that I need to complete my Sid Gordon collection. Sid was my cousin, and I would be very grateful if the winner would consider selling the item to me. Thanks.

Andy

Magie for $4,096? Did someone (besides me, who couldn't afford it), miss the boat on this one?

I was beaten in the bidding on this one so if the winner is willing to part with the violet Speaker, or Blue Chance, or green Evers or possibly a common which is not shown in the photo (if it is the right color), please let me know.
Thanks,
Bob M.

I won 2 lots so far the PSA 6 33' goudey ruth and the set of ungraded 41 playballs. Still in the hunt for one more auction tonight. Went out on a limb for a few others and was willing to pay a lot more fo rwhat they where worth but somebody else wanted it more.

sucks when it comes consecutively during the final countdown.

i'm guessing a collector won the e104-1 lot but if not i'd love the plank from the lot.

Bloodied and despondent, I have lost the E100 battle and will carry myself up to bed to sleep, perchance to dream.

Take solace in knowing that your opponent is also bruised bloodied and over $35K in debt to Mastronet... you packed a wallop and at least you went kicking and clawing...

I won my first Mastro lot, the Detroit vs Chicago 1886 Game-in-Progress Imperial Cabinet. It's far more than I've paid for any item in the past but feel I was very fortunate to obtain it at the price I did. Thank you Jay for letting this item find a new home. It's an awesome piece!

Joe,
I thought that was one of the coolest pieces in the entire auction. I thought it was going to go much higher as well and thus did not even try for it. Congratulations!

I won the T204 (Ramly) Plank. I am trying to collect all of the Eddie Plank cards. So far, I already have the 1960 Fleer.

Hi there:

If anyone on 54 purchased either of the two 193 Goudey sets (there was a PSA set and an SGC set), and is interested in breaking the set up, I would be interested in taking some off your hands.

Also, if anyone here purchased the lot of 1930s premium cards, I am interested in any R303s that may have been there.

Feel free to contact me privately.

Thanks!

-Al

Barry, let me be the first person in line to give a beating to anyone that buys 19c albums and then parts them out. This, probably more than anything else really pisses me off. To me, it akin to chopping up a uniform or bat to create those stupid chase cards.

I won the E102 Lot (Lot 2697 1908 E102 "Anonymous" Partial Set (16/29)). I am keeping the Doyle, Evers, Matty, and Collins and am holding the Wagner for somebody.

I am going to move all the others including a Cobb SGC 10, a Collins SGC 30 and an Evers SGC 50.

E-mail me if interested in the others.

Jay- I agree, but the Mastro one is already missing one of its covers. And since mine is missing the advertising page, I can actually make it whole again. Better to have one complete than two incomplete.

If anyone on the board won Lot #2394, I am interested in buying the Evers. It's the last card I need to complete my T-3 set, so, come on, folks, help me out! Also, if anyone won Lot #2693 (E98), I'm interested in any dupes that may be available. Contact me off-line: mpeich@comcast.net. Many thanks, Mike

Hi George,
I was (well I am still...) amused by your post re: collecting all Eddie Plank cards !!
That's one heck of a start you're off to.
With all the T206 versions out there from deceased great-uncles, I'm sure your Plank collection will be up to 3 very soon !

Seriously, great score on the Ramly. A very nice card!

I was part of the group that won the 1909 Obak lot.

We are dividing it up and will probably sell some of them.
