Default A few last minute AC recommendations

Seems like the whole world is onto the White House sub shop. Here are some other cool places with real character to check out if you are willing to venture away from the hotel scene.

Knife and Fork Inn

The Gilchrist Restaurant for breakfast

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall

Back Bay Ale House

The Irish Pub

Well i just looked at the menu online. I have it narrowed down to Crab Meat Sautee, Crab Meat Au Gratin, or the Pan Seared Crab Cakes. Can you tell I like Crab? If I could have one food the rest of my life, it would be the Atlantic Blue Crab.
Yep. Having dinner there tomorrow night for sure.

Not in AC but only a 15 minute drive...My Uber driver recommended the Oyster Creek Restaurant for seafood and the menu and location look great. Maybe tonight.

What about box crab? Saw that on TV recently and it looked amazing. Unfortunately, I can't have shellfish ever again, but you can always dream.

Never heard of box crab. I will have to try it if I can find it anywhere.
Sorry about the shellfish for you.

I miss it like you would definitely believe!

I saw box crab on one of the food shows (maybe the current incarnation on Man vs. Food, I'm not sure). These multi-spiked things are far more prehistoric and larger than anything I've ever encountered. They weren't historically caught because of the depths at which they live. They look beyond delicious.

That and Mott’s Creek Inn are two of the great bar/burger spots in the area and you’d never think you were anywhere near NJ. More like coastal SC or GA. Totally worth the drive.

Can’t think of one.
Ventor is a town bordering AC. Just a few miles away. Huge Jewish population. Particularly older folks. I would look there.
