1935 Cleveland All Star Game
I bought this ticket back in July...was a little worried at the time because the seller on ebay did not have even a score of 10 when i purchased it.
But his story seemed legit and i talked to him on the phone a few times. Finally got this back in the mail today from PSA and am beyond pleased!!! Andy |

VINTAGE 1916 - 1917 NEW YORK GIANTS BASEBALL Ticket Stub GAME 37 (LETTER D)
VINTAGE 1916 NEW YORK GIANTS BASEBALL ticket stub
Ticket Stub Home GAME 37 LETTER D year is BASED on the Letter D which was credited to 1916 the reason being I have seen NY Giants Home Game tickets with Letter F hand dated with 1917 meaningless game and a Letter E which hand written scores on attributed to 1917, so I am assuming theis being a Letter D is for 1916 the President is Harry N. Hempstead Harry N. Hempstead his time as President was 1912 -1918 the add on back was seen on 1916 1917 1918 tickets I feel very strongly ticket is from 1916 in 1916 Game 37 the 37th scheduled game which co insides with the Game number printed on ticket which were printed before season began (including rain outs ) so not the 37th Game played was on July 4th Giants v Brooklyn Dodgers Game 2 of a Double header where two games were played and a ticket would have been needed for both games Game 37 was the late Game "19160704","1","Tue","BRO","NL",73,"NY1","NL",74,"D","","" 36 scheduled d/h "19160704","2","Tue","BRO","NL",74,"NY1","NL",75,"D","","" 37 see safe link for Box score in Game 2 Dodgers beat the Giants 6-2 see safe link for Box score http://www.baseball-reference.com/bo...91607042.shtml ticket has ceases and wrinkles but no paper loss or pin holes if any ticket collector dis agrees with my findings I would greatly appreciate any conclusive info that the Letter D is not 1916 Last edited by megalimey; 12-30-2016 at 10:37 AM. |

Your Giants ticket is certainly from the year 1916. Here are photos of a 1914 Giants ticket that features the letter "B" and is hand dated August 10, 1914 in vintage ink. It does have the Midland Beach Resort advertising on the verso. I have owned this ticket for over 25 years. I hope this helps. Happy New Year! Last edited by Scott Garner; 12-30-2016 at 08:21 AM. |

I'm not a collector but I recently stumbled across a stack of my old stubs. Among them was a ticket from my first big league game.
My dad took me. Browning and Ron Robinson combined to give up two runs. Dave Parker hit a home run and my favorite player, Buddy Bell got a hit. I haven't saved much but I was really happy to see that this ticket still around. |

It's very easy to do. The second section at the top left (just to the right of the icon that says net54 Homepage) is the Buy/Sell/Trade Section. Click on that and scroll down to the BST section for Memorabilia. Post your items for sale there. BTW, your blue Giants ticket in your earlier post is from 1916. This is one aspect of my collecting that I would love to get into. The problem with tix from the 90's I have found is that a lot of times the ink printed on the tickets either fade or are rubbed off. I wonder if tix from the 80's face this problem.

As faint as the printing is, it's much more legible on this enhanced scan (made July 18, 2012) than on the actual ticket.

I recently came across a couple of cool Mets ticket stubs that were buried somewhere in the vast accumulation of stuff that I call a "collection."
First is a stub from Opening Day 1983. This was Tom Seaver's return to the Mets after a few years with the Reds, or Redlegs as they were known for a few years in the 1950s. The other one is May 6, 1983 v. Cincinnati. This was Darryl Strawberry's Major League debut.

HOF Jim Palmer no-hitter full ticket
I also posted this in the July pickup thread, but I'm thrilled to be able to have upgraded the Jim Palmer no-hitter ticket in my advanced no-hit ticket collection.
Here is the only full ticket that I have ever seen in 45 years of collecting to Palmer's gem. Many of you know that I am not a fan of PSA grading tickets, so I took the liberty of cracking the slab and displaying it in my preferred method. |

I have a ticket from game 4 of the 1965 World Series. I would like to display it with cards of the players from the game. Should I use 1965 Topps cards (the year of the world series) or 1966 Topps cards( player stats from 1965) ?

1990 Colorado Buffaloes Student Season Ticket
Hi all,
Here is one of my favorites. Here we have a 1990 Student Season Pass for the fall football season at Colorado. The ticket was for home games of which four of six were attended by this student. Sep 6, against Stanford, Sep 22, against Washington (a then attendance record for Folsom Field), Oct 22, against Oklahoma and Nov 17, against Kansas State (Senior Day as well as a 64-3 victory, the largest margin of victory ever achieved by the Buffaloes at home.) This is a part of one of the most exciting times in the history the program and gained the student entry to some of the best games in school history. Stay safe!
