For me, it's collector grade of:
Team: Cubs

Hope to soon start on: M101-2, M116, and T204...In that order, actually,a s well, as I think it is generally the progression of how much they cost too, isn't it?

I pick up Yankees from any set I like whenever I see a card I need. Fortunately, there are many holes in my collection. Most recently, I made a dent in my 1950 Bowman set, picked up 2 1914 CJ cards in the past couple of weeks, and hope to score my first E94 soon.

My hope is that at some point I'll assemble all the cards of all the Yankees from all the sets I care about. Then I'll upgrade.

Below are the sets I have any representation from. I hope to add E120, E220, E121, M116, T204, and others, soon.

Yankees/Highlanders

T201: 1/?
T206: 23/29
T207: 6/10
T213: 2/?
T215: 1/?

E90: 4/7
E92: 3/3
E94: 0 (close to 1)
E97: 1/3
E98: 2/3
E101: 2/2
E102: 2/?

'14 CJ: 2/7

'33 Goudey: 5/?
'34 Diamond Stars: 5/?
'34 Batter Up: 2/?
'39 PlayBall: 3/?
1950-54 Bowman: 18/?

Team: Pre-1920 Toronto

Completed: T201, T206, T213-2, T215, C46, M116

In Progress: N172 (have 1 of 3, don't expect to ever have the other 2)

Hope to soon start on: Less the 2 N172s, I thought I had completed all of this last year. I am now hearing rumours that there is a T213-3 of Joe Kelley with Toronto. Can anyone confirm this?

....we're running the prices up on one another. I understand the appeal though because my great grandfather played for the Staley Bears in the early 1920's and tried out for both Chicago and StLouis baseball teams (My grandmother says he practiced with them but no spot opened). He was a Cub fan so I am fourth generation. He would not have like the new WGN tune played when they win though. It's music to my ears but really cheesy.

Team - Cubs
Completed T206 with at least two back variations per player. Intentions are to get as many backs as possible.
Team - All T206
That's right.......I'm slowly completing team sets to work towards The Monster. I'm about half way there and expect to take the rest of my days to complete. However, I have recently considered selling off my others to fund the Cubs back quest. I just can't decide.

Sidenote: I collect raw cards only, or bust them out if need be.

Eric

I've been wanting to try and put together a N172 Cincinnati Reds team set, but I imagine that will really be a long term project.

I decided to work on Play Ball Brooklyn Dodger team sets and have 39 and 41 done, about 60% done on 40. 33 and 34 Goudey will be up after I complete the 40 PB's. I also have post war Bums through 57 in various stages of undress, with some completed.

Cubs Nation is strong in vintage land...
made all the more frustrating that it requires we get accustomed to paying silly prices for a few of the weakest HOFers around, in Tinker, Evers, and Chance...oh well.

good luck with the collecting - and stay away from those M-cards for me!
