8 figures? If racing, would most likely be a vintage Ferrari or Porsche from one of the storied races of yesteryear.

If I was the kind of guy who had a spare $10M laying around, I can't think of any sports memorabilia item I'd want to spend it on. Unless it was something with great appreciation potential. Will be curious to see what it is, but sounds like it's going to be the sort of thing that hopefully gets displayed in a museum by the new owner.
