Default Goodwin & Co. cabinet card? What exactly do I have?

Guys.............I've had this for a few years. I bought it because I liked the image and I also enjoy collecting early baseball equipment.....but I've always wondered what it truly is. It has the 1889 Goodwin & Co. logo and the player's name, but is it a trimmed down cabinet card? The card measures 4.25"x6". Each corner has old tack holes and the picture is affixed to the cardboard backing. The back has some old glue residue that looks like it was pulled out of a scrapbook or something. Any more information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance........Matt

Hey Matt.

Looks like an n173 to me with the branding info at the bottom trimmed off. Their size is 6 1/2 long so that's the 1/2 inch you're missing.

Nice image.
