Agreed. Over-rated, over-valued and exceedingly over-paid. Oh, to be a mediocre baseball player today. Best thing that has happened to the Dogjuhs in ages.

As a Clardinals fan I hope you are all correct, but I think at least for next year he will be a solid performer in their rotation. I just hope Cardinals do not panic into trying to sign Arrieta to any long term contract. The Cubs obviously made the call that they were better off with Darvish in any multiple year deal. That may haunt them later, but I think will make them better for next year

As a long time Cub fan, I have my doubts.

Should they have signed a “whirling dervish” instead of a ”twirling Darvish”?
