Absolutely. I saw Lorenzo Cain game used bats going for $100+ in the last few weeks. I remember buying those for $25 each and wouldn't pay more than that today.

Default When To Sell

I think another way to consider the question of “when is it time to sell” is when you have materials that are related to some aspect of the series based on the teams playing. Consider if the Cardinals had faced off against the Orioles this year. The Orioles moved to Baltimore as the St. Louis Browns. The Browns and Cardinals faced off in the 1944 World Series. This meeting, or 2014 Battle of the Birds, would have come on the 70th Anniversary of the All St. Louis Series. This may have sparked a renewed interest in the 1944 World Series.
